ASME SA335 P9 Studded Fin Tubes are premium heat transfer components designed for high-temperature, high-pressure service in refineries, petrochemical plants, power stations, and industrial process heating systems. Manufactured from ASME SA335 Grade P9 seamless alloy steel pipe, these studded fin tubes are produced by automatically welding solid cylindrical studs onto the outer tube surface, substantially increasing the effective heat transfer area while maintaining excellent resistance to fouling, erosion, and thermal fatigue.
The 9% chromium and 1% molybdenum composition of P9 alloy steel provides excellent oxidation resistance, creep strength, and structural stability during prolonged operation at elevated temperatures. Compared with conventional finned tubes, studded fin tubes perform exceptionally well in dirty gas streams and applications involving particulate matter, where open stud geometry helps reduce ash accumulation and simplifies cleaning.
Engineered for demanding thermal environments, our ASME SA335 P9 studded fin tubes are manufactured using advanced automated stud welding equipment, ensuring uniform stud distribution, high weld integrity, and consistent thermal performance.
