ASTM A815 UNS S31803 Duplex Stainless Steel 90LR Elbow is a forged or formed pipe fitting designed for changing flow direction in high-performance piping systems. Manufactured according to ASTM A815 / ASME SA815 specifications, this duplex stainless steel elbow combines high mechanical strength with excellent resistance to chloride-induced corrosion, making it suitable for demanding industrial environments.
The S31803 duplex structure contains both ferritic and austenitic phases, providing improved strength compared with conventional austenitic stainless steels while maintaining good corrosion resistance. The long radius (1.5D) design reduces flow turbulence and pressure loss, making it widely used in offshore, chemical processing, oil and gas, desalination and marine piping applications.
