Insulin injection is a type of subcutaneous injections, which means insulin is injected into the fat layer under the skin. That is to say, insulin injection is using a short sterile needle to inject insulin into the fatty layer between the skin and muscle. As the injection area is subcutaneous, the insulin needle tube is intended to be shorter, smaller and finer than other needles. To inject easier and reduce the discomfort of paitents, the bevel type of insulin needle tip is designed to three-face-bevel. The most common insulin injection sites are abdomen, thigh, upper arm. Insulin needle tubes are usually used by diabetic patients to inject insulin to trat diabetes, which is convenient for these patients' treatment.
