ASTM B564 is a standard published by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM International), officially known as the "Standard Specification for Nickel Alloy Forgings", which stands for the standard specification for nickel alloy forgings. This standard specifies the manufacturing, chemical composition, mechanical properties, inspection, and testing requirements for nickel alloy forgings, applicable to Hastelloy, Inconel, Monel, and other nickel alloy forging products in various industrial applications.
ASTM B564 N10276 is the UNS designation for Hastelloy C-276, which is resistant to various strong acids, alkalis, and oxidizing media, especially in chloride environments, and maintains good mechanical properties and corrosion resistance at high temperatures. At the same time, it has excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking in chloride ion environments. N10276 flanges can be manufactured into various types according to demand, such as butt welding flanges, slip-on flanges, threaded flanges, blind flange, etc. The size and pressure rating comply with standards such as ASME B16.5 or ASME B16.47, and the specific size and pressure rating can be customized according to requirements.
Main components: including nickel (about 57%), chromium (about 14.5%-16.5%), molybdenum (about 15.0%-17.0%), and added elements such as iron, tungsten, and cobalt.
Physical properties: Density of 8.9g/cm ³ (or 8.89g/cm ³, slightly different sources), melting point of 1325-1370 ℃. This alloy is non-magnetic.
Mechanical properties: High strength and toughness, tensile strength ≥ 690MPa (some materials mention 790MPa, which may be related to different heat treatment states or testing methods), yield strength ≥ 275MPa (some materials mention 355MPa, also affected by testing conditions), elongation ≥ 40%, hardness ≤ 100 (HRB)
