2507 Super Duplex Equal Tees for High-Corrosion Piping Systems
ASTM A815 UNS S32750 Equal Tee is a 2507 super duplex stainless steel butt-welding fitting designed to create a 90-degree branch connection in process piping systems.
UNS S32750 combines a ferritic-austenitic duplex microstructure with relatively high chromium, molybdenum and nitrogen contents. The grade is commonly selected for piping exposed to chloride-containing fluids, seawater, brine and demanding chemical environments.
The equal tee maintains the same nominal branch size as the run, allowing a straight pipeline to be divided into two branches of identical nominal diameter. Butt-weld ends provide a direct welded connection with the adjoining pipe.
ASTM A815 covers wrought ferritic/austenitic stainless steel fittings, while dimensional requirements for butt-welding fittings are normally specified together with applicable dimensional standards and project requirements.
