ASME SA213 T22 Alloy Steel HFW Serrated Finned Tubes For Refineries Projects
ASME SA213 Specification for seamless ferritic and austenitic alloy steel boiler, superheater, and heat exchanger tubes.Manufacture and Condition — Tubes shall be made by the seamless process and shall be either hot finished or cold finished, as specified.
The serrated finned tube is a special and important form of high-frequency welded / HFW spiral finned tube.Before the steel strip used for the fins undergoes high-frequency welding, it is cut at a certain height and depth. During the winding and welding process on the base tube, serrated finned tubes will be formed. Relevant experiments and documents have proved that due to the serrated fins, the disturbance on the airflow is increased, which enhances heat transfer and is conducive to the discharge of accumulated dust.
Tube and fin materials may be carbon, ferritic alloy or austenitic alloy steel and can be of similar or dissimilar material combinations.

The alloy steel high-frequency welding / HFW serrated finned tube is a heat transfer component specifically designed for use in high-temperature and corrosive environments within oil refineries projects.Serrated fins can create turbulence and break thermal boundary layers.
Crude Oil Preheat Trains --- in preheat exchangers to heat crude oil before distillation
