ASME SA179 carbon steel seamless base tube with 1060 aluminum L-type wound fin is a high-performance composite heat transfer element engineered for enhanced air-side thermal performance. It features a cold-drawn seamless carbon steel pressure vessel (ASME SA179 compliant) with helically wound 1060 aluminum fins in an interlocking L-profile configuration. This unique design combines the high thermal conductivity of aluminum fins (~200W/m·K) with mechanical robustness - the L-foot anchorage prevents fin loosening under airflow erosion and thermal cycling, designed for air coolers, heaters, and finned tube heat exchangers.
1.Product Overview
The trapezoidal section formed by rolling of L-shaped finned tube is consistent with the distribution of heat flow density, and the tubes are closely combined with high thermal efficiency, thus eliminating the contact thermal resistance caused by the gap between the fins.
Working temperature: 230°C characteristics: winding process, high production efficiency, uniform spacing, good heat transfer, high fin ratio, the base pipe can be protected from air erosion.
