The Huawei CloudEngine S5751R-L8P2X-QA is a fanless, silent Gigabit PoE+ switch from the CloudEngine S5751R-L series. Designed for small and medium-sized enterprises, it fits in a compact 1U chassis, makes zero noise, and delivers enterprise-class features — including MACsec encryption.
Eight Gigabit PoE+ ports connect and power downstream devices: wireless APs, IP phones, and surveillance cameras. No separate power injectors needed.
The switch uses an external power adapter (170–240V AC). Total PoE budget is sufficient for typical small deployments — classrooms, waiting rooms, or small offices with 4–8 powered devices.
Most 8-port access switches give you gigabit uplinks. This one provides 2 × 10GE SFP+ ports supporting 100M/1/2.5/10GE speeds.
Switching capacity is 56 Gbps / 98 Gbps with a forwarding rate of 42 Mpps. The 10GE uplinks ensure upstream traffic — video conferencing, cloud backups, VoIP — never hits a bottleneck.
Unlike most compact access switches, the S5751R-L8P2X-QA supports MACsec (IEEE 802.1AE) . This provides end-to-end link-layer encryption, securing data in transit between switch and connected devices.

Operating temperature ranges from –5°C to +45°C with natural convection cooling.
