The Huawei CloudEngine S6730-H48X6CZ-V2 is a 1U rack-mounted core switch tailored for enterprise campus aggregation and data center deployment, with part number 02354VCP and initial supporting firmware V600R022C00.
Equipped with fixed ports including 48×10GE SFP+ and 6×40/100GE QSFP28 interfaces, the QSFP28 ports run at 40GE by default and can be upgraded to 100GE with pre-activated RTU licenses; starting from V600R023C10, the final two QSFP28 ports support splitting into four 25GE channels each. An extra HSIC expansion slot becomes available from V600R024C00 for future function expansion. Its switching capacity hits 4.8/48Tbps alongside a 2000Mpps forwarding rate, paired with 4GB running memory and 2GB flash storage, while the MAC address table supports up to 384K entries. Measuring 442×420×43.6mm and weighing 7.48kg without packing, the compact 1U chassis saves cabinet space effectively.
In power and thermal design, the switch has dual power slots for 1+1 redundant power supply, compatible with 100–240V AC or -48~-60V DC input with mixed AC/DC installation allowed. Its typical power draw is 234W and max consumption reaches 327W, cooled by three hot-swappable fan modules with operating noise limited to 53.4dB(A). It works stably between -5℃ and +45℃ for running and -40℃~+70℃ for storage, boasting an MTBF of 48.99 years without PoE capability.
Feature-wise, it delivers high-density 10GE downlink plus 100GE high-speed uplink, native VXLAN and BGP-EVPN for L2/L3 gateway virtualization. Built-in enterprise-grade functions cover reliable stacking via iStack, comprehensive QoS mechanisms with eight priority queues per port and multiple scheduling algorithms, full-spectrum security features including 802.1X, MAC authentication and DoS defense, as well as smart O&M tools like Telemetry and iPCA, which also supports cloud-based management via iMaster NCE-Campus.
