The Juniper MX301 is a next‑generation, compact edge router delivering 1.6 Tbps in a 1 U form factor — powered by sixth‑gen Trio 6 silicon. It consumes as little as 0.3 W per Gb, supports 400GbE down to 1GbE on flexible multi‑rate ports, and provides line‑rate MACsec (AES‑256) and inline IPsec on all WAN ports. With 128 GB DRAM, 400 GB SSD storage, redundant 850 W PSUs, and hot‑swap fans, the MX301 is purpose‑built for AI edge aggregation, mobile backhaul, broadband edge, and metro networking.
