The server supports up to 41 x 2.5-inch SFF drives or 20 x 3.5-inch LFF drives, including 28 U.2 NVMe SSDs via native PCIe 4.0 interface to reduce storage latency. Embedded SATA controller and optional cache-based RAID cards support RAID 0/1/5/6/10/50/60. Equipped with 14 PCIe 4.0 slots and 2 OCP 3.0 ports, it supports 25G high-speed network cards and up to 4 double-width GPUs for AI acceleration.
Enterprise Reliability & Management
The R4900 G5 adopts 1+1 redundant titanium-rated hot-swap power supplies and N+1 redundant fans, operating stably within 5°C–45°C. Integrated H3C HDM out-of-band management supports Redfish API for remote monitoring and one-click maintenance. Built-in TPM 2.0 and chassis intrusion detection ensure data and platform security. It is fully compatible with RHEL, VMware ESXi and H3C CAS virtualization platforms.
