The CQ800 semi-automatic PET strap winder features an infinitely adjustable traverse length from 50 mm to 200 mm, allowing flexible control of finished coil width. Whether narrow coils (e.g., 50 mm) for hand strapping or wide coils (200 mm) for large automatic strapping machines, the adjustment can be made quickly via the touchscreen. No mechanical parts need to be replaced - the servo-driven traverse mechanism automatically changes its travel range based on the set value. Combined with electronic 2/3-point or spiral layering, the system ensures minimal strap bending and neat end faces. This capability allows one machine to produce multiple PET coil width specifications, increasing equipment utilization.

No. The electronic control system automatically optimizes the layering curve for the new length, ensuring neat ends without overhang. Tests show excellent end face quality for both 50 mm and 200 mm settings.
Not recommended - changing during winding would cause layering disorder. Always set the new length during a stop or before starting a new package.
The servo motor and ballscrew are rated for millions of cycles. Even with 10 changes per day, the life expectancy far exceeds ten years - completely reliable.
