What strap widths can this machine handle?
This machine is suitable for PP strapping bands with widths ranging from 5-19 mm. The desired width can be selected quickly via the touch screen.
Does the machine support different paper tube sizes?
Yes. It accommodates two paper tube sizes: Ø210 mm * 152 mm or Ø210 mm * 190 mm, with thicknesses of 5 mm or 10 mm. Note that recycled or damaged paper tubes must not be used.
How is strap tension controlled during winding?
The machine automatically adjusts winding speed based on the tension arm angle position. Tension can be fine-tuned manually via the spring screw to suit straps of different weights or widths, thereby minimizing curvature deformation after winding.
Does the machine have automatic tube change and film wrapping functions?
Yes. After winding is complete, the machine automatically replaces the paper tube, cuts the strap, clamps the strap head, wraps the outer layer with film, flips the finished coil 90° onto the conveyor, and returns to the start position—all without manual intervention.
