How do you ensure the four straps have exactly the same thickness? Won't the center strap be thicker and the sides thinner due to flow division?
This is precisely the core technology of our die head design. Traditional "T-type" or "coat-hanger" flow distribution can indeed cause uneven flow between the center and ends. We employ a "heart-shaped" or "spiral" flow distribution structure optimized via CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics), combined with internal flow resistance adjustment devices (such as chokes or adjustment bolts) that allow fine-tuning of each flow channel's resistance. During equipment commissioning, we calibrate the flow using standard material, adjusting these devices to ensure completely equal output speeds from all four outlets, fundamentally solving thickness unevenness.
Will the die head precision degrade over long-term use, leading to poor product consistency?
The long-term precision of a die head depends on material, wear, and maintenance. Our die head uses high-hardness, corrosion-resistant die steel and undergoes heat treatment for exceptional wear resistance. Under normal use, precision can be maintained for years. We recommend regular preventive maintenance, including cleaning the die lips and inspecting flow channel surfaces. We also offer die head refurbishment and re-polishing services. Consistency during production relies more on stable process control (temperature, speed), which our system strongly guarantees.
