PRODUCT DESCRIPTION OF PET PACKAGING BELT
PET plastic-steel strapping (also known as polyester strapping) is a high-performance plastic strapping material. It is named "plastic-steel strapping" because its strength is close to that of steel strapping. This material is typically manufactured using crushed mineral water bottles or similar PET containers.
CORE FEATURES
Extremely High Tensile Strength--------PET strapping boasts tensile strength several times greater than comparable PP strapping, typically reaching 500 kgf to 800 kgf or higher. It can replace equivalent steel strapping for heavy cargo packaging.
Excellent Ductility--------- When subjected to strong external forces, PET strapping exhibits an elongation of 5%-10%. This property allows it to absorb impact energy, preventing sudden breakage when impacted or jolted, providing consistent tension and enhanced safety.
