PET packaging belt/PET strapping—also frequently referred to as PET "plastic steel" strapping—is a new type of eco-friendly packaging material distinguished by its exceptional performance and wide range of applications. It is primarily utilized for the bundling of heavy-duty products, including paper goods, steel, aluminum, cast iron, cotton, chemical fiber products, bricks, marble, and similar items.
Advantages of PET plastic steel straps:
(1) High tensile strength----- It possesses the tensile strength of steel strapping and the ductility to withstand impacts, ensuring safe transport of products.
(2) Low elongation---- Its elongation is only one-sixth that of polypropylene strapping, allowing it to maintain tension for extended periods.
(3) High temperature resistance----- With a melting point of 260 degrees Celsius, it does not deform when used below 120 degrees Celsius.
(4) Good safety----- It eliminates the risk of rust and contamination of bundled items, unlike steel strapping, and its bright color makes it easy to inspect.
(5) Excellent economic benefits---- One ton of PET strapping is equivalent in length to six tons of steel strapping of the same specifications, and its price per meter is more than 40% lower than that of steel strapping, reducing packaging costs.
