PET strapping/PET packaging belt is a high-performance strapping material widely used in industrial packaging, particularly suitable for transportation and warehousing scenarios where high strength and stability are required. Compared to traditional steel or PP strapping, PET strapping offers significant advantages in safety, environmental friendliness, and economy. It is mainly used for strapping heavy products such as steel, aluminum, hardware, synthetic fibers, and brick manufacturing.

PET packaging belt/PET strapping—also frequently referred to as PET "plastic steel" strapping—is a new type of eco-friendly packaging material distinguished by its exceptional performance and wide range of applications. It is primarily utilized for the bundling of heavy-duty products, including paper goods, steel, aluminum, cast iron, cotton, chemical fiber products, bricks, marble, and similar items.
1. Material properties
PET material-----It is made of polyester resin by extrusion and stretching, and has excellent tensile strength, impact resistance and weather resistance.
Environmental protection-----It can be recycled and meets environmental protection requirements. Some products use recycled PET raw materials.
Temperature resistance-----It has a wide working temperature range (-40℃～120℃), does not soften at high temperatures, and is not easy to crack at low temperatures.
2. Physical properties
High strength-----The tensile strength can reach 200-800MPa (much higher than PP strapping belt), which is close to the performance of steel tape, but lighter.
High toughness-----Elongation (about 20-30%), it is not easy to relax after bundling, maintains lasting tension, and is not easy to break, making the product more firm and secure.
Anti-corrosion-----Acid and alkali resistant, moisture-proof, rust-proof, suitable for humid or corrosive environments.
RAW MATERIALS
This product is manufactured using PET bottle flakes and crushed PET scraps as primary raw materials. It incorporates food-grade virgin PET material and undergoes a sophisticated high-temperature stretching and shaping process. The result is a strapping material with exceptional toughness that resists splitting or breaking during use, Consequently, it effectively resolves common industry issues associated with traditional strapping—such as susceptibility to breakage, rusting, and difficulty in recycling.
