Why does this model use manual bolts instead of an automatic self-locking lever mechanism?

For copper conductors or steel cables, this is acceptable; however, for fiber optic cables, such a sudden crush force would immediately shatter the internal fiber cores. Can this gripper be safely used to clamp standard hard copper or ACSR conductors?
We strongly advise against it. The inner chamber contains a highly specialized, precisely calibrated cushioning liner engineered to match the outer jackets of OPGW and ADSS cables. Pulling rigid, abrasive ACSR or bare steel strands would immediately score, tear, or completely ruin the specialized inner liners, destroying its protective benefits for subsequent fiber optic installations.
