Every streetwear brand needs a solid color hoodie in their collection. It is the bread and butter of sales.
But here is the challenge designers face: How do you make a plain black or grey hoodie look "expensive"?

If you use standard 320g fleece, it looks like fast fashion. To command a higher price point, you need texture and density.
Enter our 450gsm Solid Knit Fabric with "Rice-Spike" texture.

Not Just Another Plain Fabric
We define this fabric as "Minimalist Luxury." It creates a clean, monochromatic look, but the knitting structure tells a different story.
The "Rice-Spike" (Mi Sui) weave creates a granular, vertical grain on the face of the fabric. It catches the light subtly, giving the solid color depth and character. It feels technical, substantial, and far superior to flat jersey.

The 450gsm "Armor" Spec
We engineered this specific blend for brands that want structural silhouettes.

  • Weight: 450gsm. This is heavyweight territory. The hood stands up on its own; the sleeves hold their volume.

  • Composition (58% Poly / 38% Cotton / 4% Spandex):

    • Why this mix? At 450g, a high cotton count can make the garment heavy and prone to sagging. We use a 58% polyester backbone to stabilize the structure. It locks in the color (no fading) and keeps the shape crisp, while the 38% cotton ensures the surface feels natural and dry to the touch.

Production Efficiency (185cm Width)
This is where our factory experience pays off for you. Most heavyweight fabrics are narrow (160-165cm). We knit this Solid Knit Fabric at an ultra-wide 185cm.
