This is usually caused by a leak in the air spring airbag or the piping. Rubber airbags, subjected to long-term temperature changes and road impacts, may develop microcracks, leading to slow air leaks. If multiple wheel positions collapse simultaneously, it is more likely a problem with the air supply system assembly (such as the distribution valve or main pipeline).
In most cases, the problem lies with the air compressor or its circuit. For example, a system leak can cause the compressor to work frequently and overheat, blow a fuse, or the desiccant inside the compressor can become saturated and fail. At this time, the vehicle will enter protection mode, limiting the maximum speed to prevent complete suspension failure.
This is most likely caused by the distribution valve sticking or a fault in the height sensor signal. If the valve core inside the distribution valve gets stuck, one of the air springs may not be able to deflate properly; if the height sensor linkage falls off or is dirty, it can cause the control unit to misjudge the position, making it unable to accurately adjust the height on one side.
