Stuffing Box Detail information
As a user of the API 11B Oilfield Polished Rod Sealing Box (Stuffing Box), I understand that it is an essential equipment installed at the Pumping Well Head. I use the Double Pack version, which seals the polished rod using cone packing and a lubricated upper section. This design ensures self-alignment and prevents packing burnout, effectively sealing against fluid pressure leakage.
The sealing box I use is made with flexible materials such as 1045/4130 casting steel or ductile iron for the cap, glands, body, and base, based on my specific requirements. The bottom of the stuffing box is equipped with API gauged threads to match tubing EUE or LP connections.
This sealing box is suitable for various polished rod sizes, including 1 inch, 1.1/8 inches, 1.1/4 inches, 1.1/2 inches, and 1.3/4 inches. It has a simple structure, making installation and maintenance extremely convenient. The option of double packing or even triple packing ensures optimal sealing effectiveness, providing reliable performance and efficient sealing capabilities.
