The Hydraulic Elevator Oil Buffer is a critical safety component designed for traction and hydraulic elevator systems, providing reliable end-stop protection and smooth deceleration during emergency or terminal stopping conditions. Engineered with a precision-machined carbon steel cylinder and high-grade piston assembly, this buffer operates on the principle of fluid displacement, converting kinetic energy into thermal energy through controlled oil flow, thereby ensuring a cushioned, jerk-free stop even at rated impact speeds.
Constructed with a corrosion-resistant epoxy coating, the buffer withstands harsh environmental conditions, including high humidity and temperature variations from –10°C to +80°C, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor elevator installations. The unit is available in standard stroke lengths of 150mm, 200mm, and 250mm, with custom options upon request to accommodate varying car weights and travel heights. With a maximum impact capacity of up to 150 kN and a reset time of less than 120 seconds, it complies with EN 81-20 and ASME A17.1 safety standards.
Maintenance is simplified through a top-fill oil port and visible level indicator, allowing for quick fluid checks and refills without disassembly. Whether applied in high-rise commercial buildings or low-speed freight elevators, this hydraulic buffer delivers consistent damping performance, extends equipment service life, and enhances passenger comfort. Backed by rigorous factory testing and a two-year warranty, it offers a durable, cost-effective solution for modern vertical transportation safety systems.
The elevator wire rope has special provisions and requirements. Configuration is not only for wire rope and rated load, but also considered the size of the traction, as a result, the tensile strength of wire rope is greater than the weight of the lift. The safety factor is equipped with more than four wire rope. So it won’t break at the same time.
