Product Description

The waste plastic shredder is a specialized crushing machine designed specifically for the physical properties of waste plastic. It primarily uses low-speed dual-shaft or single-shaft blade assemblies to tear, compress, and cut plastic, breaking down various types of waste plastic into uniformly sized fragments.

Anti-adhesion design: The surface of the knife shaft is treated with a Teflon coating, combined with an intermittent blade layout, which effectively prevents plastic from adhering to the knife body due to friction-induced heat during the shredding process, ensuring continuous and stable operation. Compatible with Various Plastic Forms: It can process different forms of waste plastic, including film-type (e.g., greenhouse film, plastic bags), block-type (e.g., plastic barrels, plastic sheets), and fiber-type (e.g., plastic woven bags). For lightweight, easily tangled plastic films, a pre-compression feed roller is equipped to prevent tangling around the blade shaft; for hard plastic blocks, enhanced blade shaft torque is used to achieve efficient shredding, with adaptability better suited to the morphological differences of plastics.
3. Low dust and low noise: The built-in negative pressure dust collection system captures plastic dust generated during shredding, reducing environmental pollution; combined with an elastic vibration-damping base and low-speed operation design, the machine operates at 15%-20% lower noise levels than metal shredders, making it ideal for environments with strict noise requirements.
4. Strong control over fragment size: By adjusting the knife shaft speed via variable frequency control, the fragment size can be tailored to meet subsequent recycling requirements (e.g., pelletizing, regrinding injection molding) within a range of 10-100mm. For example, plastic fragments for pelletizing need to be controlled around 20mm, which this equipment can precisely achieve through parameter settings, whereas metal shredders do not require such precise control over fragment size.
5. Energy-efficient and high-performance: Considering the characteristics of plastic being low in density and easy to break, the machine uses a low-power, high-torque motor, reducing energy consumption by approximately 20% compared to metal shredders with the same processing capacity. Additionally, the feed opening is designed as a wide, inclined opening, allowing for the simultaneous loading of large quantities of loose plastic, thereby improving feeding efficiency.


Product Applications
1. Plastic recycling and regeneration sector: In the plastic recycling industry chain, as front-end pre-processing equipment, recycled waste plastic is shredded into uniform fragments. These fragments are then washed and dried, and can be directly used as raw material for recycled plastic pellets. For example, shredded plastic bottle fragments can be used to produce recycled PET flakes, while film fragments can be used as raw material for plastic woven bags, addressing the challenges of “large pieces being difficult to transport and impurities being hard to separate” in plastic recycling.
2. Circular utilization in the packaging industry: For waste packaging plastics generated in industries such as food and chemicals (e.g., PP plastic pallets, PE packaging film), after being shredded by a shredder, they can be remelted and injection-molded into new packaging products, achieving a closed-loop recycling of packaging materials. Unlike metal recycling, which relies on smelting and reprocessing, plastic recycling depends more on maintaining the physical form of the shredded material to enable subsequent melting and molding.
3. Agricultural waste treatment: Waste agricultural films and plastic seedling trays generated during agricultural production can be shredded and then processed for degradation or recycled using specialized equipment. Shredded agricultural film fragments are easier to transport to recycling plants, avoiding the space-consuming transportation of large agricultural films and reducing soil pollution from residual agricultural films.
4. Industrial Scrap Material Processing: Scrap materials generated during plastic processing plant production (such as leftover plastic pipe materials or defective injection-molded parts) can be directly reused in production processes after shredding. Since the shredded plastic fragments can be melted without secondary processing, they can quickly integrate into the raw material system. Compared to the re-melting of metal scrap materials, this approach saves processing costs.
