This forewing uses high-modulus carbon fiber as its core material. Compared to ordinary carbon fiber, its strength-to-weight ratio is significantly improved, reducing the weight of the components while greatly enhancing impact resistance and durability. Common marine environmental impacts such as reef collisions and wave surges can be effectively mitigated by the material's inherent toughness, extending its service life. Simultaneously, the rigidity of high-modulus carbon fiber ensures more direct power transmission, reducing energy loss and allowing each stroke and pump to quickly convert into forward propulsion, improving surfing efficiency.
This forward wing uses high modulus carbon fiber as its core material. We achieved that by using a very tapered outline, we reduced the second moment of area for roll, and worked to achieve a perfectly elliptical span-wise lift distribution.
We have strategically reinforced the ART v2 with Ultra High Modulus carbon in addition to our existing layups creating a stronger connection between the wing and the fuselage, which provides quicker response, better performance and additional strength.
For advanced surfers, the core value of this forewing accessory lies in its dual benefits of performance enhancement and scenario adaptability. The lightweight and high-strength high-modulus carbon fiber material addresses the points of easily worn accessories and insufficient power transmission in ocean surfing.
