The fixed-size 2-section and 3-section ultralight carbon fiber downwind paddleboard is the exclusive power equipment for downwind paddleboarding. Made from high-performance carbon fiber composite materials, it retains the core advantages of this material—"lightweight and high-strength"—while withstanding high-intensity water impacts. The surface undergoes carbonization treatment to form a dense protective layer, possessing excellent resistance to seawater corrosion and UV radiation. Even with prolonged use in salt spray environments, it is not prone to aging or deformation, and its service life far exceeds that of paddleboards made of ordinary materials.
The paddles feature a highly efficient 72-85 square inch surface area design, coupled with a 10-12 degree deflection angle, maximizing thrust with each stroke to quickly capture wave energy. The ultra-light weight significantly reduces muscle strain from paddling frequency, allowing riders to maintain stamina during hours of tailwind riding, especially suitable for the rapid takeoff requirements of narrow, high-performance tailwind paddleboards. The moderate rigidity of the carbon fiber shaft ensures precise force feedback, improving paddling efficiency.
After each use, rinse the paddles and connecting parts with fresh water to remove salt and sand, preventing residue from abrading the carbon fiber surface. Avoid heavy pressure and direct sunlight during storage; hang or lay flat in a dry, well-ventilated place to prevent shaft bending and deformation. If the connecting mechanism becomes stuck, apply a dedicated silicone-based lubricant; do not use corrosive cleaners. For long-term storage, it is recommended to disassemble and store the paddles to reduce continuous stress on the connections.
