These measures address potential ignition sources and prevent fire spread, providing a secure operating environment.
A key safety feature is the automatic fire-extinguishing ball device, mounted on top of the machine. This device continuously monitors temperature; if a fire occurs (e.g., due to abnormal heating), it automatically activates, releasing a fire-suppressant agent to extinguish the flame quickly. Additionally, the machine’s cooling system (20HP air-cooled chiller) maintains solvent temperature below its flash point, eliminating a major ignition risk. The chiller is integrated with temperature sensors (Omron E5CC series) that trigger an alarm and shutdown if temperatures exceed safe levels.
The vacuum system further enhances safety by reducing oxygen concentration in the machine. In the cleaning, drying, and distillation stages, low oxygen levels mean hydrocarbon solvent cannot ignite—even if heated above its flash point. Other safety features include emergency stop buttons (for immediate shutdown in emergencies), heat-resistant insulation on high-temperature components (preventing accidental burns), and a liquid collection pan (to contain solvent spills, reducing slip and fire risks).
All safety components comply with international standards (e.g., CE, ISO), and the machine undergoes rigorous safety testing before shipment. Operators receive training on fire safety protocols during the on-site training session, ensuring they can respond appropriately to any incidents.
