Product Description
Gauze swab, also known as gauze sponge or gauze pad in some market, is a disposable basic medical dressing made of 100% absorbent woven cotton gauze through degreasing, bleaching, cutting and multi‑layer folding. It is available in EO sterile and non‑sterile versions, with folded‑edge option to reduce linting, and X‑ray detectable thread optional for surgical use. Supplied in various sizes and plies, it features soft texture, good air permeability and high fluid‑absorbing capacity. It is widely used in hospital operating rooms for blood and fluid absorption, clinical wound cleaning & dressing change, skin disinfection, dental saliva and bleeding control, as well as first‑aid kits, home care and aesthetic clinics. Sterile swabs can be applied to open wounds while non‑sterile ones are only for intact‑skin cleaning. It meets CE, ISO13485 standards and supports OEM customization.
