Air Truck DDP Oversized Cargo China USA Door Delivery Duty Paid Customs Cleared
Service Overview
Air Truck DDP Oversized Cargo combines air and truck transportation for palletized and oversized freight. This service is ideal for B2B buyers requiring speed without parcel-only pricing limitations, with a reliable 7 to 12 day door-to-door delivery window. We manage supplier pickup, export declaration, air transport, US import clearance, duty and tax settlement, and final-mile truck delivery.
Double Clearance & Tax Inclusion
What do "double clearance" and "tax included" cover?
Double clearance handles both export declaration in China and import clearance in the United States. Tax included means we advance and settle all applicable US import duties and taxes as importer of record.
Your quote represents a single landed cost with no customs follow-up required.
Complete Door-to-Door Service
What does a genuine one-stop air and truck DDP service include?
Service scope extends from supplier factory gate to consignee door: pickup and packing verification, air transport from Chinese gateway, export declaration, US import clearance, duty/tax settlement under our customs bond, airport handling, and final-mile truck delivery.
One accountable partner manages the entire chain, providing a single invoice instead of multiple vendor documents.
Transit Time & Cost Structure
How long does delivery take and how is pricing structured?
Standard door-to-door delivery: 7-12 days. Truck final mile: 2-4 business days after clearance (3-6 days for remote ZIP codes). Pricing based on greater of actual or volumetric weight, typically $6.5-$9.5 per kilogram all-in DDP.
For time-sensitive cargo, the air-plus-truck premium offers predictable landed cost advantages over slower transport modes.
Oversized Cargo Handling
How is oversized cargo managed?
Pieces exceeding parcel limits move via truck with confirmed dimensions and weight, utilizing liftgate or flatbed services as needed. Air transport handles value-dense portions.
Routing oversized items to truck freight ensures heavy cargo moves without delivery refusals.
Packing Standards
How are goods packed for transport?
Packing is customized for commodity and journey requirements: export-grade cartons/pallets, corner/edge protection, shock/moisture control, and clear handling marks. All cartons are weighed and measured at pickup.
Only a correct delivery address and contact information. The consignee doesn't file customs entries, appoint brokers, post bonds, or pay duties.
Provide an address; we provide confirmed, duty-paid, tracked delivery.
Door-to-Door Process
Origin Consolidation: Collection from supplier with packing verification
Export Declaration: Customs filing and cargo release
Air Transport: Confirmed space from Chinese gateway to US entry airport
US Import Clearance: Entry filing and customs release
Duty/Tax Settlement: Payment of all applicable charges
Truck Pickup: Transfer to final-mile delivery service
Delivery & Signature: Final delivery with proof of delivery
Frequently Asked Questions
Is duty really included?
Yes. The quoted DDP rate includes all duties and import taxes - the approved amount is the total delivery cost.
Do I need a US company or customs bond?
No. We clear as importer of record under our customs bond, eliminating need for foreign sellers or consignees to establish US entities.
Can you deliver to Amazon FBA?
Yes, across all 50 states, following facility-specific appointment and labeling requirements.
What are the truck limits?
We confirm all dimensions and weight at booking to ensure proper trailer matching.
