Air Truck DDP Double Clearance China USA Door Delivery Duty Paid Customs Cleared
Air Truck DDP Double Clearance provides air plus truck DDP service with both export and import clearance handled. This solution is ideal for B2B buyers who require speed without parcel-only pricing limitations. The 7 to 12 day door-to-door window ensures schedule reliability. We manage supplier pickup, export declaration, air uplift, US import clearance, duty and tax settlement, and truck final mile delivery—handling both China export and USA import clearance processes.
Understanding "Double Clearance, Tax Included"
Double clearance covers two customs events handled end-to-end: export declaration in China plus import clearance in the United States. Tax included means we advance and settle all applicable US import duties and taxes as importer of record. The single flat rate bundles three essential actions: export declaration, import clearance, and duty payment.
The quoted price represents a complete landed cost with no customs follow-up required by the consignee.
Comprehensive Door-to-Door Service
Our genuine one-stop air and truck DDP service covers the entire journey from supplier factory gate to consignee door. This includes pickup and packing verification, air uplift from Chinese gateway, export declaration, US import clearance, duty and tax settlement under our customs bond, airport handling, and truck final-mile delivery.
This comprehensive approach replaces the 4-6 vendors typically coordinated by importers, with every stage tracked under a single reference number.
Transit Time and Cost Structure
The standard door-to-door transit window is 7 to 12 days. Truck final mile delivery typically takes 2-4 business days after clearance, extending to 3-6 business days for remote ZIP codes. Pricing is calculated on the greater of actual or volumetric weight, typically ranging from USD 6.5 to 9.5 per kilogram all-in DDP, depending on commodity type, seasonal factors, and delivery zone.
Air and Truck Integration
Shipments fly from Chinese gateway to US entry airport, clear customs under DDP, then transfer to truck leg for final delivery. Parcel-sized cartons are delivered via UPS within 2-4 business days, while palletized or oversize freight moves on dedicated road freight with liftgate service. This strategic split between air and truck transport optimizes both speed and cost efficiency for mixed loads.
Documentation and Clearance Process
We handle all documentation requirements including China export declaration, US import entry and ISF filing, commercial invoice preparation, packing lists, air waybills, and any required permits. As importer of record, we settle all duties and taxes. The buyer only needs to provide a product list and delivery address.
Customs Inspection Management
If US customs selects a shipment for inspection, our service covers standard coordination costs. Our US team manages the entire process, ensuring no examination invoices reach the importer. Pre-filing reviews of classification, valuation, and permit requirements help maintain an examination rate below industry average.
Packing and Handling Standards
Goods are packed according to commodity-specific requirements and journey demands. We use export-grade cartons or pallets with corner and edge protection, shock and moisture control, and clear handling marks. Each carton is weighed and dimensioned at pickup to ensure accurate rate calculation and proper aircraft selection.
Consignee Responsibilities
The receiving company's responsibilities are minimal: provide a correct delivery address and contact information. The consignee does not file customs entries, appoint brokers, post bonds, or pay duties at delivery. We handle all clearance documentation and payment obligations.
Door-to-Door DDP Process Steps
  • Origin consolidation: Collection from supplier with packing verification and consolidation at Chinese gateway
  • Export declaration: Filing export customs declaration and cargo release for uplift
  • Air main leg: Confirmed space flight from Chinese gateway to US entry airport
  • US import clearance: Entry and ISF filing by licensed broker with customs release
  • Duty and tax settlement: Payment of all applicable duties and import taxes as importer of record
  • Truck pickup: Tender to final mile carrier (UPS for parcels, dedicated freight for pallets)
  • Delivery and signature: Final mile completion with proof of delivery capture
Booking and Payment Information
To generate a quote, we require product description, HS context (if known), gross weight, dimensions, declared value, and exact delivery address. Our team prepares all documentation including commercial invoice, packing list, air waybill, and entry papers. Payment options include T/T, PayPal, Western Union, and Bank Transfer.
Tracking and Delivery Verification
A single reference number tracks the cargo from supplier pickup to signed delivery. Position updates occur at gateway handover, uplift, US clearance, truck tender, and final delivery. The proof-of-delivery record completes the file with duties already paid.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is duty really included?
Yes. The quoted DDP air truck rate includes duty and import tax—the approved amount is the total payment for the described delivery.
Do I need a US company or customs bond?
No. We clear as importer of record under our own customs bond, enabling foreign sellers or consignees without US entities to import without additional setup.
Can you deliver to Amazon FBA?
Yes, across all 50 states, following appointment and labeling requirements as specified by each facility.
Is it the same as DDP?
Double clearance represents the customs component of DDP, while tax inclusion covers the payment aspect.
Ready to move your next shipment with duty-paid, door-to-door air and truck DDP service?
Share your product details, weight, volume and delivery address, and we will provide one flat DDP rate with a confirmed transit window. Contact our team today to book your next uplift and ship with the entire customs burden handled for you.
