An air suspension spring is a core component of a vehicle suspension that uses compressed air as the elastic medium. In the overall vehicle structure, air springs are typically installed between the axle and the frame (or body), replacing traditional leaf springs or coil springs, becoming the core elastic element of the vehicle's suspension system. In buses and trucks, air springs are mostly located at the front and rear axles; in high-end passenger vehicles, air springs are usually equipped on all four wheels, achieving full-vehicle air suspension control.

In actual operation, air springs dynamically adjust vehicle height and suspension stiffness by inflating and deflating compressed air.
