1. Air generates resistance as it passes through connecting pipes and throttling orifices. 5. Long Service Life and Low Maintenance Costs
The main moving parts are flexible rubber airbags, eliminating the metal-to-metal friction and wear of traditional mechanical parts. As long as punctures from sharp objects, ozone, and oil contamination are avoided, its fatigue life is very long, reliability is high, and maintenance requirements are far lower than for mechanical springs and vibration dampers.
