Application of Industrial Air Springs in Carpet Extractors
The application of industrial air springs in carpet extractors is mainly reflected in its buffering, shock absorption, force regulation and stability control, which can significantly improve the working efficiency and operational safety of the equipment.
Carpet extractors are used to forcefully pull carpets from the floor or fixed base. During the process, it is necessary to overcome large friction and adhesion forces while avoiding impact damage to the ground or equipment. The flexible characteristics of air springs make them ideal auxiliary components.
Buffering and shock absorption, at the moment of pulling out the carpet, the air spring can absorb the sudden release of mechanical stress and reduce the impact of the equipment on the ground, especially for fragile floors such as wooden floors and tiles; pressure regulation, carpets of different materials, such as heavy commercial carpets vs. light household carpets, require different extraction forces. Air springs can quickly adapt to load changes through air pressure regulation to avoid overload damage to the equipment or insufficient tension leading to low efficiency; improve equipment stability, the extractor may tilt due to uneven force during operation. Air springs can be installed on the base or support arm of the equipment, and automatically level through air pressure balance to keep the equipment stable.
An industrial carpet recycling equipment uses a pulling head supported by double air springs. The pulling force can be adjusted in the range of 500-2000N to adapt to different carpet types. The efficiency is increased by 30%, and the floor damage rate is reduced to below 0.5%.
