Installation and Precautions
Installation Steps:
Pre-installation Inspection
Inspect the product for shipping damage (such as cracks, deformation, scratches, etc.).
Ensure the installation area is clean, flat, and free of oil, rust, or sharp objects to prevent damage to the airbag.
Check that the supplied bolts, washers, and other fasteners meet the equipment requirements (such as strength grade and size).
Correct Installation Position
Confirm the air spring installation direction (vertical/horizontal) and valve orientation according to the installation drawings or manual provided by the original equipment manufacturer.
Ensure that the airbag is not twisted or overstretched in its natural state to avoid applying additional stress during installation.
Tightening and Sealing
Use a torque wrench to tighten the bolts to the specified torque value for the equipment (usually provided by the equipment manufacturer, such as XX N·m). Avoid overtightening (causing rubber deformation) or over-loosening (causing air leakage).
If using a flange connection, ensure that the sealing gasket is intact and evenly distributed.
Use a dedicated air pipe connector at the valve connection and secure it with a clamp to prevent air pressure leakage.
Inflation and Commissioning
Before connecting the air source, confirm that the system pressure meets the device's requirements (e.g., 0.3-0.8 MPa; refer to the device manual for details).
Inflate slowly, observing the airbag for even expansion and no localized bulging or deformation.
After inflating to the recommended pressure, check that the height reaches the device's setpoint. Adjust the air pressure if necessary to ensure load balance.
Post-Installation Testing
Start the device and run it unloaded to observe whether the air spring is functioning properly and whether there is any abnormal vibration or leaking sound.
Perform a load test to verify the shock absorption effect and device stability.
Key Notes
⚠ Safety Warning:
Do not apply load to the uninflated airbag, as this may cause permanent deformation or damage to the airbag.
The inflation pressure must not exceed the air spring's maximum operating pressure (refer to the product label or technical manual).
During installation or maintenance, ensure the device is shut down and release any residual air pressure in the airbag.
