This demonstration showcases an AI-powered PCB motherboard inspection system that combines 2D machine vision and 3D laser profiling to achieve high-precision automated inspection in electronics manufacturing.
After the PCB is accurately positioned, a 2D industrial camera captures high-resolution images of the entire board. Advanced AI vision algorithms instantly inspect for missing components, incorrect assembly, misalignment, and other visual defects with high speed and accuracy.
Following the 2D inspection, a 3D laser line camera scans the PCB surface along a servo-controlled trajectory, generating precise three-dimensional profile data for every component.
