The 6300KVA medium and low carbon ferromanganese refining furnace is core special equipment for producing medium and low carbon ferromanganese by electro-silicon thermal process. It adopts fixed furnace roof, top feeding and tilting tapping structure, compatible with both hot charging and cold charging processes. Featuring high-efficiency refining, low energy consumption, environmental friendliness and high automation, it is widely used in ferroalloy smelting industry and serves as mainstream equipment for refined production of manganese-based alloys.
2. Core Advantages
Wide Process Compatibility: Supports hot charging of ferromanganese-silicon molten iron and cold charging production. Waste heat of liquid alloy is fully utilized to greatly cut energy consumption and boost output.
High Refining Efficiency: Rated capacity of 6300KVA, daily output per furnace reaches 55-60 tons with annual output over 36,000 tons, perfectly matching large-scale manganese iron production lines.
Low Energy Consumption & Eco-friendly: Fully water-cooled sealed structure equipped with waste flue gas heat recovery system, thermal efficiency above 85%. Matched with high-standard dust removal system to meet national emission standards for green production.
High Automatic Operation: PLC intelligent control realizes automatic electrode lifting, power regulation and furnace tilting. Real-time monitoring of core parameters reduces labor intensity and ensures stable production.
Long Service Life: Furnace lined with high-quality magnesia refractory materials; water-cooled furnace roof and furnace wall resist high temperature and corrosion effectively, extending overall equipment service life.
3. Main Equipment Composition
Furnace Body System: Consists of furnace shell, refractory lining and water-cooled furnace roof with top feeding port for good sealing and heat preservation.
Electrode System: Equipped with Φ500mm graphite electrodes. Hydraulic lifting and proportional valve adjustment ensure accurate arc power control and stable molten pool temperature.
Tilting Tapping System: Hydraulic driven tilting mechanism, smooth and safe tapping and slag discharging.
Transformer System: Special 6300KVA electric furnace transformer with 35KV high voltage input and multi-stage adjustable secondary voltage to adapt to different smelting stages.
Hydraulic System: Working pressure 8MPa with water-glycol medium, stable operation and low noise.
Water Cooling System: Closed circulating water cooling system protects furnace roof, furnace wall and electrode holders.
Automatic Control System: Integrated PLC and touch screen with power control, electrode adjustment, temperature detection and safety interlock functions for simple operation.

5. Application Scope
Specially designed for mass production of medium and low carbon ferromanganese (Mn:75-85%, C≤0.5%). Taking ferromanganese-silicon alloy, manganese-rich ore and lime as raw materials, it completes desiliconization, dephosphorization and decarburization refining to produce high-quality ferromanganese alloys, widely applied in steel smelting and alloy manufacturing fields.
