The micro carbon ferrochrome refining furnace is a 3500 kVA tilting electric refining unit developed for the stable production of ultra low carbon ferrochrome alloys. Through precise temperature control and optimized slag practice, the furnace removes carbon from the high carbon ferrochrome melt while minimizing chromium loss, delivering micro carbon ferrochrome with tight composition tolerance for stainless steel and specialty steel applications.
The equipment integrates the tilting furnace body, high alumina refractory lining, electrode system with automatic regulation, refining transformer, hydraulic station, water cooling circuits, fume hood and centralized PLC control cabinet. All key components are selected for reliable continuous refining duty in ferroalloy plants.
