This Multi-Electrode DC Electric Arc Furnace is a specialized smelting solution engineered for high-efficiency resource recovery from vanadium-titanium slag. Utilizing advanced multi-electrode DC arc technology, it achieves superior metal recovery rates and energy efficiency compared to conventional single-electrode or AC furnaces, making it the optimal choice for vanadium-titanium magnetite processing enterprises and metallurgical slag recycling operations.
The furnace employs three independently controlled DC graphite electrodes generating stable, high-energy-density plasma arcs between electrodes and the furnace bottom anode. The operating temperature reaches 1500-1700°C, ensuring complete melting of vanadium-titanium slag and efficient reduction of vanadium and iron oxides. With the addition of carbonaceous reductants and lime flux, vanadium-iron alloy settles at the furnace bottom while titanium-rich slag floats on the upper layer, enabling clean slag-metal separation.
