It is an inorganic compound, and in its most common form used in food processing, it is also known as Synthetic Amorphous Hydrated Magnesium Silicate. Food-grade magnesium silicate serves as an efficient filter aid in the treatment of waste frying oil, primarily functioning to purify and extend the oil’s usable life.

2.Color Bodies: Adsorbing dark-colored pigments to lighten the oil's appearance.
3.Polar Compounds: Removing some polar degradation products that contribute to off-flavors and reduced frying performance.
