The fibers are made from 100% PE (soft and non‑abrasive) with a curly or coiled shape that provides cushioning and reduces skin abrasion. No infill is required – eliminating the risk of pets or children ingesting rubber or sand particles. The backing uses a permeable, drainage‑optimised design that allows urine to flow through and be flushed away by rain or cleaning. An optional anti‑bacterial treatment helps control odours. All materials comply with REACH and RoHS, ensuring they are safe for contact with children and animals.
