Yixing Shenzhou Geosynthetics Plastic Geogrid Uniaxial HDPE Grid   Product Overview:

Plastic geogrid is a geosynthetic material made from high polymer compounds such as polypropylene (PP) or high-density polyethylene (HDPE). Produced through extrusion, punching, and stretching processes, it forms a square or diamond-shaped grid structure with excellent tensile strength and stability. Plastic geogrids are widely used in road, railway, embankment, slope protection, and foundation reinforcement projects.

Raw Materials

Polypropylene (PP): High toughness, excellent chemical and corrosion resistance.

High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE): High strength, durable, and resistant to cracking.

Additives: UV stabilizers and antioxidants for enhanced weather resistance and long service life.

Manufacturing Process

1.Extrusion: Raw materials are extruded into plastic sheets.

2.Punching: Regular holes are punched into the sheets.

3.Stretching:

Uniaxial Geogrid – stretched in one direction, providing high tensile strength along the longitudinal axis.

Biaxial Geogrid – stretched in both directions, ensuring uniform strength in both longitudinal and transverse directions.

4.Shaping & Cooling: Stabilizes the grid structure.
