II. Scenario-Specific Inspection Checklist
1. Highway/Railway Roadbed Scenario
Visual Inspection: Check for new cracks, subsidence, and subsidence in the roadbed slopes.
Key Items: Inspect the geotextile for uneven stress, localized bulging, and cracks at the joints.
Remediation Requirements: Grout cracks promptly if discovered. Slope collapses require backfilling with cover soil. Damaged areas should be patched and hot-melt repaired.

Remedy: Repair damaged areas of the cover layer and clear the leachate pipes. Localized corrosion and damage require the entire geotextile to be replaced.

Key Items: Check for exposed geotextiles and for drainage holes blocked by soil or roots.
Remedy: Refill with soil, clean blocked drainage holes, and promptly cover exposed areas with soil or mulch.

Appearance Inspection: Check for discoloration, brittleness, or cracking in the geotextile.
