Description:
Polyester non-woven geotextile is a non-woven geosynthetic material made of polyester (PET) staple fiber through a needle punching process. It has the characteristics of high strength, strong permeability and corrosion resistance.
Basic characteristics
1. Materials and processes
· Raw materials: polyester curly staple fibers, which are formed into a stable cloth-like structure through opening, carding, web laying and needle punching processes.
· Features: high tensile strength, good water permeability, high temperature resistance (-30℃~120℃), anti-aging, acid and alkali corrosion resistance, and insect resistance.
2. Physical parameters
· Width: 1-6 meters, roll length 50-100 meters, unit area mass 100-800 grams/square meter, thickness is related to gram weight (such as 400g thickness is about 3.0mm).
Key functions
1. Isolation and protection
· Separate different soils or building materials to prevent mixing and enhance structural stability (such as railway roadbed isolation).
· Prevent soil erosion and reduce the scouring damage of water flow to the soil body, suitable for river channel and dam protection.
2. Filtration and drainage
· Allow water flow to pass while intercepting soil particles to maintain project stability (such as drainage system filter layer).
· Form drainage channels to discharge excess liquid and gas in the soil and improve soil quality.
