Production process :
The production process of polypropylene non-woven geotextile mainly includes the following steps:
Opening:
loosen the polypropylene short fiber raw material to make it a loose fiber state.
Combing:
comb the opened fibers to make the fibers more neat and straight, and remove impurities and short fibers.
Web laying:
evenly lay the combed fibers into a fiber net of a certain thickness and width.
Needling:
repeatedly needle-punch the fiber net with a barb needle to make the fibers entangled and embraced
with each other to form a non-woven geotextile with certain strength and stability.
Consolidation and shaping:
hot pressing or chemical treatment of the geotextile after needle punching to further improve the
dimensional stability and mechanical properties of the geotextile

Polypropylene non-woven geotextiles are widely application in the following fields:
1. Water conservancy projects: used for anti-seepage, anti-filtration and protection of water conservancy facilities such as dams, channels, reservoirs, etc.
2. Transportation projects: used for roadbeds, slopes, tunnels, etc. of transportation facilities such as roads, railways, and airports
3. Environmental protection projects: used for anti-seepage and isolation of environmental protection facilities such as landfills and sewage treatment
4. Civil engineering: used for slope protection, breakwaters and other protective structures of water conservancy projects such as river embankments and lakes
GEOTEXTILE INST ALLATION
To pave by roll with artifical method, the fabric must be level and appropriately leave the margins for
deformation. The inst lation method usually has overlapping, sewing and welding.
The overlapping part is generally more than 0.2m.
It should be welded or stitched for the exposed geotextiles.
AII sewing must be continuously carried out(for example, point-sewing is not allowed),
the geotextiles must be overlapped more than 200mm before overlapping.
The minimum distance between sewing needle and the fabric edge(the edge of exposed material) is at least 25mm.
