System 28 modular welding table with precision-ground octagon fixturing holes
The System 28 modular welding table features precision-ground octagonal fixturing holes based on 28mm diameter positioning holes. Its octagonal tabletop design, combined with precision grinding, provides 360° omnidirectional workspace, high rigidity, and micron-level positioning accuracy. It is specifically designed for automated welding, heavy structural components, and precision small parts welding, making it suitable for Industry 4.0 flexible production lines and multi-product batch manufacturing.

Key structures, materials, and manufacturing processes
Octagonal Tabletop: The tabletop is a regular octagon with evenly distributed positioning holes on both the sides and ends, providing unobstructed 360° operating space. It is suitable for robotic welding, multi-station collaboration, and complex workpiece circumferential welding, offering 40% improved accessibility compared to rectangular table fixtures. Standard sizes include φ1000–φ2000mm (side length 600–1500mm), height 200–250mm, and custom sizes are available.
28mm Precision Positioning Hole Array: Utilizing precision grinding + plasma nitriding treatment, the hole diameter is φ28mm, with a hole spacing of 100mm (right-angle/diagonal grid). Hole position coaxiality is ≤0.02mm, and flatness is ≤0.05mm/1000mm. The octagonal hole array supports multi-axis fixture installation, with a single-hole load capacity of ≥5kN, suitable for high-frequency clamping.
High-Rigidity Table Body: Made of S355J2+N/40Cr tool steel, the tabletop thickness is 25–30mm. The bottom is reinforced with welded stiffening plates and undergoes aging treatment to eliminate internal stress. The overall weight is 700–1800kg, resisting welding vibrations and workpiece heavy load deformation, with a load capacity of ≥8000kg.
Surface Strengthening: Plasma nitriding + BAR coating, achieving a hardness of 450–850HV, resistant to welding spatter and corrosion. It ensures long-term use without surface damage, reducing maintenance costs.
Positioning accuracy and modular adaptability
Positioning Accuracy: Tabletop flatness ≤0.05mm/1000mm, hole parallelism/perpendicularity ≤0.02mm; combined with System 28 fixture system, workpiece positioning accuracy ≤0.02mm, meeting high-precision interchangeability requirements of auto parts and engineering machinery.
Modular Fixture Ecosystem: Compatible with all System 28 accessories (quick clamps, positioning pins, support blocks, rotation/tilting mechanisms), supporting mixed assembly of manual/pneumatic/hydraulic clamps; single clamping time 3–5 seconds, changeover time ≤10 minutes, suitable for small-batch multi-variety production.
Automation Linkage: Reserved PLC/industrial bus interfaces, can be linked with 6-axis robots, positioners and MES systems to realize unmanned full process of "loading–clamping–welding–unloading", suitable for smart factory deployment.
After-sales service and spare parts supply
Technical Service: Provide 7×24-hour Chinese and English technical consultation, video/remote desktop commissioning for overseas customers, free on-site installation and commissioning for domestic customers, and on-site service by local cooperative engineers for overseas customers (charged on demand);
Spare Parts Supply: All System 28 fixtures and wearing parts (positioning pins, jaws, seals) are standardized universal parts, with spot direct delivery from the original factory. Overseas spare parts warehouses (Europe/Southeast Asia/North America) are set up, and conventional parts are shipped locally with delivery time ≤3 working days;
Maintenance Service: Commit to responding within 2 hours and providing a solution within 12 hours after the equipment fails. Customers can replace wearing parts by themselves, and the original factory provides replacement of repair parts for core component failures to ensure the equipment downtime ≤24 hours
