The Heavy-Gauge D28 Welding Table for Industrial and Garage Use is a heavy-duty 3D modular fixturing platform designed for factory-scale production and garage-based metalworking. With 25 mm thick reinforced top, five-sided D28 φ28 mm hole grid, stress-relieved base and nitrided anti-spatter surface, it guarantees high flatness and heavy static load capacity. Interoperable with worldwide D28 fixtures and expandable via table-to-table connection, it serves chassis fabrication, structural welding and robot welding applications.

Main Features
Modular Rapid Tooling: No custom-made fixtures are needed. Using standard D28 clamping parts, locating pins, squares, and V-blocks, workpiece positioning can be completed in minutes. Different products can be switched on the same table, significantly reducing tooling fabrication time.
Wear-Resistant and Slag-Resistant: Nitriding treatment prevents weld slag from adhering to the table surface, simplifying cleaning and extending the workbench's lifespan.
Expandable and Connectable: Multiple workbenches can be connected to create a large welding work surface; adjustable feet are available for the legs, and casters are optional for mobility.
Comparison of D16 (Lightweight) Welding Table: The D16 has a hole diameter of 16mm and a hole spacing of 50mm, making it more suitable for small, precision sheet metal parts; the D28 welding table has greater load-bearing capacity and clamping force, making it suitable for medium to large-sized heavy-duty processing, and is the most common model in workshops and factories.
Usage Notes
Do not directly initiate an arc with high current on the worktable, as this will burn away the nitrided layer and create pits; try to initiate the arc on the workpiece.
Cast iron workpieces must not be directly welded onto the worktable, as this will cause thermal deformation and localized cracking; steel Q355 welding tables can be used for small-scale spot welding of stop blocks.
When hoisting and lowering heavy workpieces onto the worktable, handle them gently to avoid impact damage to the worktable and openings.
Routine Maintenance
Welding slag: Clean with a copper spatula/wire brush. Do not use an angle grinder to grind the surface, as this will damage the nitrided hardened layer.
Regularly blow away metal shavings from holes and spray a thin layer of anti-rust oil to prevent rust from causing pins to jam.
Regularly check the levelness and readjust the anchor bolts.
Do not place several tons of heavy objects on the surface for extended periods, as this can cause permanent deformation.
Expected Lifespan
Under normal operating conditions: 8-12 years for steel nitriding welding tables; 10-15 years for HT300 cast iron welding tables; violent grinding and frequent arcing will significantly shorten the lifespan.
