D28 5-Side Machined Welding Table for Engineering Machinery Part
Designed specifically for heavy-load production of engineering machinery components, the D28 5-Side Machined Welding Table features complete five-side CNC precision machining. The table includes standard D28 Φ28 H7 hole grids distributed on the top working surface and all four side walls.
Subjected to strict stress-relief treatment and ion nitriding at HV550-900, the table maintains excellent flatness and hole-position accuracy under heavy cyclic loading. It allows flexible 3-dimensional clamping for excavator arms, chassis, brackets, and other thick-plate structural workpieces.
Compatible with the full series of D28 modular fixtures, it supports multi-table splicing for oversized parts and seamless integration with robotic welding cells, serving as a high-efficiency alternative to costly dedicated welding jigs.

1. All five sides are perforated and precision-machined The top surface and four sides all feature D28 standard grid holes. Workpieces can be laid flat, mounted upright, or clamped at an angle, enabling multi-angle assembly and welding. Perfectly compatible with irregularly shaped frames and boom-like parts in engineering machinery. Squares, positioning blocks, and supports can be directly mounted on the sides without additional backing plates or brackets.
2. Heavy-duty rigidity for thick plates and large parts The D28 hole system offers higher strength than D16, suitable for welding thick steel plates and heavy castings. Impact resistant, resists welding heat deformation, ensures interchangeability accuracy for batch parts, and can be integrated with robotic automated welding workstations.
3. Nitriding process enhances durability Nitriding hardens the holes and working surfaces, preventing welding spatter from adhering to the worktable and reducing grinding and cleaning workload.

Modular and flexible tooling reduces costs A single welding workbench, equipped with standard fixtures (locating pins, squares, clamps, and support blocks), replaces numerous dedicated welding jigs. Usage and Maintenance Guidelines
Do not perform gas cutting directly on the welding table; high-temperature gas cutting will cause localized annealing, damaging the nitrided layer and causing localized deformation
Clean welding slag promptly; do not allow thick layers of slag to accumulate as this will elevate the workpiece and lead to inaccurate positioning
Do not hammer or strike the table surface or openings; when tapping or correcting the workpiece, place it on a support block, not directly on the table itself
Regularly clean welding slag from through-holes to prevent pin jamming
Recheck the flatness annually; for heavy-load conditions, a recheck every six months is recommended
