What's the difference between D16 and D28 welding tables?
D28 (28mm holes) is designed for heavy industrial work - thicker plates, larger workpieces, and higher clamping forces. D16 (16mm holes) is for lighter, precision assembly work. D28 accessories are NOT compatible with D16 tables and vice versa.
What does "3D five-sided" mean?
It means the table has precision-machined D28 holes on the top surface AND all four vertical sides. You can mount clamps and fixtures horizontally, vertically, or at angles - enabling true 3D fixturing for complex weldments.
How flat is the table, and how is it measured?
Our D28 tables guarantee ±0.1mm flatness per square meter. Each table is measured with a precision electronic level and laser tracker across multiple grid points before shipment. A flatness inspection report can be provided upon request.
What is nitriding, and why is it important?
Nitriding is a heat treatment that infuses nitrogen into the steel surface, creating a hard, wear-resistant layer (≥HV600). It protects against welding spatter, scratches, and corrosion - extending table life by 3-5 times compared to untreated steel.
