Full Gas Nitriding Treatment

Different from cheap painting, black oxide and chrome plating surface treatment, we adopt secondary gas nitriding process for the whole tabletop and side walls:

  • Pre-cleaning: Ultrasonic degreasing and high-temperature drying to remove all surface impurities to avoid soft spots on nitrided layer
  • Nitriding penetration: Keep 510℃ strong nitriding + 550℃ diffusion heat preservation for 18-24 hours
  • Uniform hardened layer: Total effective nitrided depth 0.25-0.4mm, surface hardness HV450-630

Key advantages of nitrided layer:

  • Metallurgical combination layer, never peel or fall off under arc splash up to 1200℃
  • Smooth compact surface greatly reduces spatter adhesion; cooled spatter can be knocked off lightly without grinding
  • Weak magnetism avoids arc deflection, making weld seam molding neat for aluminum and stainless steel workpieces
  • 48-hour salt spray resistance, no rust in humid coastal workshops without daily oil maintenance

  • Flatness test by marble standard ruler & dial indicator

  • 24-hour uniform load compression test to verify no permanent deformation
  • Full appearance inspection for sand holes, burrs and nitriding color difference
