Underside Reinforcement Ribs: Steel plate models (Q355) feature fully welded rib structures; cast iron models (HT300) feature integrally cast reinforcement ribs. Evenly distributed ribs withstand heavy loads and thermal stress from welding, minimizing tabletop deflection and deformation.
Aging Treatment: Artificial aging (annealing) is performed to eliminate internal stresses from machining and welding. Inferior manufacturers skip this step, leading to tabletop warping and loss of flatness within 6 to 12 months of use.
Five-Sided Milling: The top surface and four side faces undergo simultaneous CNC milling. This ensures side-to-top perpendicularity within 0.1 mm/1000 mm and establishes a unified datum for both side and top holes; side holes are functional mounting points for heavy-duty tooling, not merely decorative features.

FAQ
Does nitriding treatment prevent workpiece welding deformation?
No. Ion nitriding only protects the welding table itself against wear and spatter. Workpiece thermal shrinkage and deformation are determined by welding process, which cannot be eliminated by the table.
What causes flatness loss of the welding table?
Main reasons include missing stress-relief aging, heavy hammer impact, long-time concentrated welding heat, poor factory floor condition and overload.
What is your warranty policy?
The table body comes with 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects. Wear-and-tear parts such as locating pins and clamps are excluded from warranty. Man-made damage including grinding, heavy impact and overload is not covered.
What material options are available for the D28 welding table?
Two mainstream options: Q355 high-strength steel with ion nitriding and HT300 cast iron. Q355 steel performs better for heavy-impact heavy-duty workshops, while HT300 cast iron offers superior vibration-damping performance for robotic welding stations.
Is the nitrided surface conductive for welding earthing?
Yes. The nitrided layer is thin and conductive. We suggest using dedicated earthing terminals instead of relying on table legs for welding ground connection.
