The ER34615 is a high-performance lithium thionyl chloride (Li-SOCl₂) primary battery. It features a fully sealed stainless steel cylindrical casing with dimensions of 34 mm in diameter and 61.5 mm in height, also known as a D-type or size 1 battery. Renowned for its exceptional performance and reliability, this battery serves as an ideal power solution for industrial instrumentation, smart metering, remote monitoring, and other demanding applications.
Operating Temperature Range: -55℃ to +85℃ (some models can operate from -60℃ to +85℃)

High Energy Density: With a specific energy of up to 430Wh/kg or 1080Wh/L, it offers extended runtime in a compact size. Over 90% of its capacity is delivered on a high voltage plateau with minimal voltage decay.Broad Temperature Performance: Capable of reliable operation in extreme temperatures from -55℃ to +85℃. It retains approximately 50% of its nominal capacity at -60℃, demonstrating excellent adaptability to both high and low temperatures.Ultra-Long Life & Low Self-Discharge: The formation of a protective LiCl film (passivation layer) between the lithium anode and the thionyl chloride electrolyte contributes to an exceptionally low self-discharge rate of less than 1% per year. It offers a shelf life exceeding 10 years at room temperature, with some manufacturers claiming up to 15-20 years.Safety & Reliability: The fully sealed stainless steel casing ensures integrity through hermetic welding. Internal safety features such as venting grooves, fuses, or PTC devices are incorporated to prevent over-pressure and short-circuit risks. It is free of hazardous heavy metals like mercury, cadmium, and lead, meeting environmental requirements.

The ER34615 series includes three variants:
ER34615 (Standard Capacity): Standard model with 19Ah capacity, suitable for low to medium discharge rate applications.
ER34615M (High Power): Offers 14.5Ah capacity with a maximum continuous discharge current of 2000mA and pulse current of 3000mA. Ideal for high-current output and low-temperature operation.
ER34615S (High Temperature): Designed to operate at temperatures up to 150℃, suitable for high-temperature environments.

Important Usage Notes
Non-Rechargeable: The ER34615 is a primary (non-rechargeable) lithium battery. Charging is strictly prohibited as it may cause explosion or fire.
Prevent Short Circuits: Avoid direct contact between the positive and negative terminals.
Correct Installation: Install the battery according to the correct polarity as specified by the device.
Avoid High Temperatures: Store at a maximum temperature of 30℃. Do not expose to heat or incinerate.
Transportation Regulations: As the internal lithium content exceeds 1 gram, transportation must comply with Dangerous Goods Safety Regulations.
